How do you price permanent lighting?
We charge by the foot: simple, honest, no hidden fees. Your written quote spells out everything before any work starts. The free measure confirms the feet and the lights you choose.
What does lighting cost on average?
On average, permanent lights run about $3,000 and Christmas lights about $600; smaller homes often cost less, and the free measure gives your exact written quote. Short runs are priced at the same per-foot rates as long ones.
What is permanent lighting, exactly?
A low-voltage (24 V) strand of individually controllable RGBW LED lights mounted along the roofline in a low-profile channel that matches the fascia, run from a controller and a phone app. Warm white every evening, colors for holidays and game days, and the ladder stays in the garage.
How is it attached to my house?
The color-matched channel is bonded to the fascia with 3M VHB tape on a cleaned surface, with brackets at corners and joints. No screws through the roof, no penetrations in the drip edge or shingles. Magnetic Pebble uses magnets on a steel drip edge; C9 Classic uses clips.
