C9 Track

Classic C9 bulbs in a color-matched channel. Permanent, wire hidden, looks like Christmas lights should.

The C9 is the bulb shape people picture when they think of Christmas lights. This package puts a full-color Minleon RGBW+2 C9 on 15-inch centers inside a slim color-matched channel that matches your fascia, so from the street you see bulbs and no wire.

Each bulb has red, green, blue and dedicated white diodes, so warm white for everyday use is a true white, not a blend of colors, which is a real difference from RGB-only systems. The polycarbonate shell is faceted like a glass C9 and rated by Minleon for a 10-year lifespan.

How it's installed

We bond the channel to the fascia with 3M VHB tape on a surface cleaned with denatured alcohol, then clip the bulb strand into the channel and snap the covers on. On most homes there are no screws in the roof or fascia at all.

Runs connect to a controller in the garage or a weather-rated box near an exterior outlet. Power injection is added every 200 lights so the far end of the run is as bright as the first bulb.

C9 Track questions

Can I get the classic warm-white C9 glow without the multicolor?
Yes. The dedicated white diode gives a proper 2700K-style warm white. Most customers run warm white nightly and switch to color scenes for holidays and game days.
How is C9 Track different from C9 Classic?
Same bulb, different mount. C9 Classic hangs on clips with a visible green wire, like traditional lights, at $12 per foot plus a $495 system line. C9 Track hides the wire in a channel and is sold flat at $32 per foot with the system included.
Is 15-inch spacing too sparse?
On a roofline viewed from the street, 15 inches reads as the traditional spacing of a C9 strand. If you want a denser line of light, look at Pebble Track at 12 inches or Deep Pebble Track at 6 inches.
