Jellyfish Lighting vs Minleon: specs, pricing and what isn't published
Jellyfish Lighting is the second big dealer brand in permanent lighting and the one most willing to talk price: its corporate pricing page says roughly $25 to $35 per foot plus a $650 to $850 controller at company-owned locations, with independent dealers varying.

Where Jellyfish is stronger
The five-year parts warranty is the best plain-language warranty among the dealer brands. Its app publishes zone control, a weather-linked sunset schedule and voice integrations, and the 48-volt system runs long distances per controller.
Where Minleon is stronger
A dedicated white diode. Jellyfish makes white by blending red, green and blue and offers several color temperatures that way; Minleon's pebbles and pucks have a separate white chip, which reads cleaner on a fascia at low brightness.
Published weather ratings. We can tell you the lights are IP66 and the supply is IP67 because Minleon prints it; Jellyfish doesn't publish an IP rating anywhere we could find.
Price with the controller inside. A 220-foot Jellyfish install at $30 per foot plus a $750 controller is $7,350; ours is $7,040 with the controller in the number, and there is no separate controller line item to discover at the visit.
On the controller line
Jellyfish's $650 to $850 controller charge is real money on a small job: a 100-foot front is $2,500 to $3,500 in lights plus the controller, so $3,150 to $4,350. Our $2,500 minimum on Pebble Track covers about 78 feet, controller included.
Our verdict
Jellyfish is a good system with a strong warranty and a mature app. If those are your priorities, it's a reasonable choice. If you want a true white diode, a published weather rating, several mounting options, and a price that already includes the controller, that's us.
