Permanent patio and bistro lights: warm 3000K nightly, color for the party
Bistro lights are the string of big bulbs that make a patio feel like a place. Ours are Minleon RGBW S14 bulbs with a dedicated 3000K white diode, so the everyday setting is the warm cafe glow people buy bistro lights for, and they switch to any color from the same app that runs the roofline.
Priced at $24 per foot of hang path plus a $495 system line, or no system line when installed with a roofline package.

Where they hang
Along eaves and pergola beams on clips, or on a stainless guide cable for spans between posts. A 16 by 20 patio with three swags is typically 60 to 80 feet of hang path. Steel posts set in concrete are added at cost where there's nothing to attach to.
Outdoor kitchens and covered patios
Under a covered patio the bulbs can run at low brightness as the only light you need for dinner. Over an outdoor kitchen we hang the run a little higher and brighter so the cook can see. Both are separate zones if you want them to behave differently.
Commercial patios
Restaurant and brewery patios use the same bulb at 24-inch spacing with brand colors saved as a scene. Twist-lock connectors mean a bulb swap is a minute with no splicing.
